How can I transfer funds using a credit card?

From March 4, 2024, all users will be able to make credit card deposits via both the Bitvavo website and the mobile app. Please read the full instructions below. 

Important: Deposits will only be accepted if the name on the credit card matches the Bitvavo account owner.

App 📱

  1. Open the Bitvavo app and log in to your account.
  2. Tap on the + next to your euro balance and select the 'Credit card' option.
  3. Fill in your details, including first name, last name (as stated on your card), card number, expiration date, and CVC.
  4. Click 'Continue' and confirm the transaction in your banking environment.
  5. When the transaction is complete, you'll receive a confirmation via email.

Website 💻

  1. Go to the Bitvavo website and log in to your account.
  2. Choose the 'Deposit' option.
  3. Select 'Credit card' as the payment method.
  4. Fill in your details, including first name, last name (as stated on your card), card number, expiration date, and CVC.
  5. Click 'Continue' and confirm the transaction in your banking environment.
  6. When the transaction is complete, you'll receive a confirmation via email.
Please note that the rollout of credit card deposits to 100% of the customers will take place gradually from March 4, 2024. Customers may see this option appear in their app in the first two weeks of March.
