Bitvavo has chosen to halt the onboarding of new users residing in Germany for regulatory reasons. We have already implemented the necessary changes. As of Monday 18th of March Bitvavo no longer onboards new users residing in Germany.
German residents looking to sign-up with Bitvavo will be notified at the onboarding process that they cannot become customers and will be blocked from creating an account.
