Verification levels and requirements

To be eligible to register a Bitvavo account and use our services, you must be:

•  18 years of age or older;
•  a resident of one of these countries.

In addition, Bitvavo is required - due to applicable rules and regulations - to receive certain information before we can provide you with an account that has access to our services. This process is similar to opening an online bank account or investment account. Please find below an overview of which information is required per verification level.

Your verification level determines what limits apply to your Bitvavo account.
