Bitvavo is required by law and regulations, which are supervised by the Dutch Central Bank, to identify your home address in order to use our services. 

When creating your account, you will see the following screen. Here you can enter the following data:

  • Country where you live;
  • Address line with house number and any addition;
  • Address line 2 (optional);
  • Postal code; 
  • City.

If you skip this part when creating the account, you can still fill it in afterwards by clicking on the message on your dashboard.

If you want to change your address, for example by moving, you can easily do this yourself via your verification page. Click on edit and confirm your new address.

Why is Bitvavo obliged to ask for this?
