Can I use a residence permit to verify my identity?

Yes. A residence permit is accepted if it is valid for at least 3 months and issued in the Netherlands, the EEA, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom. Residence permits from non-EEA countries are not accepted.

Why can’t I use documents from non-EEA countries?

We can only accept documents that meet European regulatory requirements. Documents issued outside the EEA, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom are not supported.
