What are upcoming listings?
Upcoming listings are cryptocurrencies scheduled for listing on Bitvavo. Through the Upcoming Listings page, you can view the name, ticker, and icon of these assets, along with their expected launch times and dates when available. This feature helps you plan ahead for trading opportunities by providing a clear overview of what’s coming soon.
How to use the Upcoming Listings page
Exploring upcoming listings
- Visit the Upcoming Listings page on the Bitvavo website.
- Browse the list of upcoming assets to see their name, icon, and ticker.
- Check the expected launch time and date for each asset, if available.
What information is available for Upcoming Listings?
The Upcoming Listings section displays the name, ticker, and icon of each upcoming asset, along with the expected launch time and date if this information is available.
Can I trade these assets immediately?
No, trading will only be available once the asset is officially listed. The expected launch time will be displayed on the Upcoming Listings page.
Can I place a limit order for upcoming listings?
Currently, the page only provides information about upcoming listings. Trading functionalities such as limit orders will be introduced later.
How do I stay updated on new listings?
You can regularly check the Upcoming Listings page on the website or enable notifications in your Bitvavo account settings to receive updates.
What happens to my orders if the asset is not listed?
If an asset is not listed, any existing deposits for that asset must be withdrawn. If they remain in your account for more than 30 days, they will be included in the delisting process. Before this happens, we will notify you with details about the delisting and withdrawal options. If the assets are not withdrawn within the given timeframe, Bitvavo will sell them on your behalf, and the resulting funds will be credited to your account.
