At Bitvavo, we regularly review the digital assets listed on our exchange to ensure they continue to meet our listing standards. Based on our most recent review, we have decided to delist SOPH and AERGO. Please read the following information carefully to see how this impacts your account.
Timeline
The delisting process for SOPH and AERGO will follow this schedule:
- Deposits are closing on Friday August 7th, 13:00 CEST.
- Buying and selling stops on Friday August 7th, 14:00 CEST.
- Withdrawals are closing on Friday August 7th, 15:00 CEST.
- On Wednesday August 12th or earlier, we will automatically convert your assets to EUR.
What you can do
You have three options regarding your SOPH and AERGO holdings before the final delisting date:
- Sell your assets: You can sell your SOPH and AERGO balances for EUR on the Bitvavo platform until buying and selling stops on Friday August 7th, 14:00 CEST. After this time, the trading pairs will be removed.
- Withdraw your assets: You can withdraw your SOPH and AERGO to an external wallet until withdrawals close on Friday August 7th, 15:00 CEST. Ensure that your external wallet supports these specific assets before initiating a withdrawal.
- Wait for automatic conversion: If you choose not to sell or withdraw your assets, no further action is required. On Wednesday August 12th or earlier, Bitvavo will automatically convert any remaining SOPH and AERGO balances in your account to EUR. The converted amount will be credited directly to your EUR balance.
