What should I know about the Viction (TOMO) and Vulcan Forged (PYR) delisting?

This article explains how Bitvavo has stopped supporting Viction (TOMO) and Vulcan Forged (PYR). It covers the timeline for closing deposits, trading and withdrawals, and the automatic conversion of remaining balances to EUR.

• Deposits closed: Monday 24 August at 13:00 CEST
• Buying and selling stopped: Monday 24 August at 14:00 CEST
• Withdrawals closed: Monday 24 August at 15:00 CEST
• Automatic conversion: remaining balances were converted to EUR by Friday 28 August at the latest

Your options

TOMO: you can withdraw your TOMO to your Bitvavo Web3 wallet or to an external wallet or exchange. If you choose not to withdraw your TOMO, it will remain in your Bitvavo account. As soon as the conversion can be carried out, we will let you know.

PYR: until Monday 24 August, you could sell or withdraw your PYR. Remaining PYR balances were then automatically converted to EUR.

How to withdraw your TOMO

Would you like to keep your TOMO? You have two options:

1. Withdraw your balance to your Bitvavo Web3 wallet: you can also hold TOMO in your Web3 wallet, a decentralised storage and trading environment.

   How it works: create your Web3 wallet in the Bitvavo mobile app. Your Web3 wallet addresses are then automatically added to your Bitvavo address book, labelled 'Web3 wallet' followed by the network. Start a withdrawal from your Bitvavo account and select that address. For more detailed instructions, see:

   Good to know:

   • The Web3 wallet is self-custodial and is offered by Vavo Web3 Limited. It is not a regulated service, which means MiCA protection may not apply.
   • You manage the wallet and the private key yourself. Bitvavo does not store your key and cannot reverse transactions.
   • Always select the correct network when withdrawing. Using the wrong network can result in the permanent loss of your balance.
   • Network fees apply to the withdrawal and are shown before you confirm.
2. Withdraw your balance to an external wallet or exchange: you can withdraw your TOMO to a compatible external wallet or exchange. Read this article to learn how to withdraw crypto.

Automatic conversion

TOMO: the automatic conversion of TOMO to EUR has been postponed. We are currently unable to carry out the conversion and cannot yet confirm if or when this will be possible. We are working to complete the conversion and will update this article as soon as more information is available.

PYR: remaining PYR balances were automatically converted to EUR by Friday 28 August at the latest. The EUR amount has been credited to your Bitvavo account.
