Bitvavo is delisting ICON (ICX) from our platform on October 2, 2026. This article explains the timeline for deposits, trading, and withdrawals, as well as the automatic conversion process for remaining balances.

  • Friday October 2, 2026, 13:00 CEST: Deposits close.
  • Friday October 2, 2026, 14:00 CEST: Buying and selling stops.
  • Friday October 2, 2026, 15:00 CEST: Withdrawals close.
  • Automatic conversion of remaining assets to EUR: The conversion is delayed and will happen when possible.
Warning: Do not attempt to deposit ICX after deposits close on October 2, 2026, at 13:00 CEST. Any deposits made after this time will not be processed and may be permanently lost.

How to manage your ICX

Before the trading and withdrawal deadlines, you can choose to sell your ICX for EUR or withdraw it to an external wallet.

  1. Open the Bitvavo app and tap "ICON".
  2. To sell, tap "Sell", enter the amount, and confirm your order.
  3. To withdraw, tap "Withdraw", enter your external wallet address and the amount, and confirm the transaction.

  1. Log in to your Bitvavo account and click "ICON".
  2. To sell, click "Sell", enter the amount, and confirm your order.
  3. To withdraw, click "Withdraw", enter your external wallet address and the amount, and confirm the transaction.
Note: If you choose to withdraw your ICX, ensure that your external wallet supports the ICON network to avoid losing your funds.

What happens if I do not sell or withdraw my ICX in time?

If you still hold an ICX balance after withdrawals close on October 2, 2026, we will automatically convert your assets to EUR. The conversion is delayed and will happen when possible. The resulting EUR balance will be credited directly to your Bitvavo account.

Will I still have access to my ICX transaction history?

Yes, your complete transaction history for ICON will remain visible in your account even after the asset is delisted.
