Each cryptocurrency operates on a specific network. Some exchanges and wallets have introduced the capability to support multiple networks for individual cryptocurrencies. For Bitvavo this is not the case!
Important: To prevent confusion regarding the correct network to be used when depositing to your Bitvavo wallet, please always check our networks page.
The Bitcoin network, the Ethereum network and the BNB Smart Chain are the most commonly used and popular networks. But keep in mind that Bitvavo does not support BNB Smart Chain deposits for Ethereum-based assets except for the currency BNB. All other assets sent using the wrong network may result in the full loss of your funds.
Please check beforehand whether deposits and withdrawals are active, disabled or in maintenance for the specific asset on our networks page.
