Injective (INJ) is migrating from Ethereum (ERC-20) to its own native network (the INJ network). This is a network migration carried out by the Injective project itself and does not affect your ownership of INJ. Please read the following information carefully to see how this affects your account.

Timeline

The INJ network migration follows this schedule:

  • Between Monday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 12, there will be downtime on the current INJ network. Deposits and withdrawals of INJ will not be possible during this period.
  • On Wednesday, August 12, the actual network migration will take place.
  • After August 12, Injective (INJ) will only be available on the native INJ network. Deposits and withdrawals via the Ethereum (ERC-20) network will no longer be supported.

What this means for you

  • You don't need to do anything. This is a technical migration of the network itself. Your INJ balance on Bitvavo remains unchanged.
  • Your deposit address will stay the same after the migration. As always, we recommend verifying it on the deposit page before sending funds.
  • Deposits and withdrawals of INJ will be temporarily unavailable between August 10 and 12 due to the network downtime.
Warning: From August 12 onwards, use only the native INJ network. If you accidentally send INJ via the old Ethereum (ERC-20) network, this may result in permanent loss of funds.
Note: Plan your INJ deposits and withdrawals outside of the downtime window, and always double-check the network and address before sending.
