The Margin Trading Friends Referral Campaign is an exclusive, invite-only promotion available from October 1, 2026, at 00:00 CET until October 25, 2026, at 23:59 CET. If you received a direct invitation from Bitvavo, you can share your referral link with up to five friends to earn trading rewards together.

You cannot lose more than your deposited collateral, but you can lose it entirely.

How the promotion works

To participate, you must be a pre-selected user who received an official invite from Bitvavo via email or in-app communication. When an invited friend signs up with your link, completes verification, and reaches the trading volume milestone, both of you qualify for a reward.

Reward amount: €500 for the referrer and €500 for the referred user (€1,000 total per pair).
Referral limit: Each referrer can invite up to five qualifying users, for a maximum aggregate reward of €2,500.
Trading volume requirement: The referred user must reach at least €100,000 in cumulative trading volume across spot trading, margin trading, or a combination of both within 30 days of completing identity verification.

Referrers

Ensure you received an official direct invitation email or in-app message from Bitvavo.
Copy your unique referral link from your Bitvavo account dashboard.
Share your referral link with peers who reside in jurisdictions where Bitvavo margin trading is supported.

Referred friends

Create a new Bitvavo account using your referrer’s unique referral link during the promotion period.
Complete full identity verification (ID verification) before October 25, 2026, at 23:59 CET.
Trade a cumulative volume of at least €100,000 (spot, margin, or combined) within 30 days following your verification date.

Note: Institutional accounts, market makers, Bitvavo employees, and users who previously held an active or closed Bitvavo account are not eligible to participate.

Reward payout and withdrawal conditions

Rewards are distributed automatically on a rolling basis. Once the referred friend meets the €100,000 volume threshold, both accounts will receive €500 credited within 14 days. Bitvavo will notify both parties by email or in-app notification once the credit is issued.

Trading availability: The €500 bonus is immediately available for active spot and margin trading upon being credited to your balance.
Withdrawal lockup: The promotional reward is subject to a 180-day withdrawal lockup period starting from the date it is credited. You cannot withdraw the reward to an external bank or wallet until this lockup expires.
