Step 1: Create a Diamond Pigs account and explore Play Mode

Click this link to sign up. Then click the green Let’s Go button to access Play Mode.

Enter your personal details and agree to Diamond Pigs’ Terms and Conditions.

Use Play Mode to test how different Diamond Pigs strategies have performed over time. You can select a date, an amount, and a strategy to simulate results.

Step 2: Connect Diamond Pigs to your Bitvavo account

Once you’re ready to start real trading through Diamond Pigs, you can connect your Bitvavo account using an API connection. Diamond Pigs uses a secure API to execute trades on your behalf. You can set up this connection yourself in the API section of your Bitvavo account. It is only possible to create API keys via the website, not via the app.

1. Log in to your Bitvavo account and go to API management.
2. Click Create new API key and give the key a name, e.g., Diamond Pigs.
3. Add the IP address shown by Diamond Pigs in the wizard (whitelist).
4. Enable only the following permissions:
   • View information
   • Trade digital assets
5. Leave Withdraw digital assets disabled.
6. Copy the API and Secret keys and paste them into the Diamond Pigs screen.
7. Confirm the setup through the Bitvavo email and click Continue and then Complete in Diamond Pigs.

Step 3: Select a strategy

Choose a strategy that matches your investment goals. Use the Exclude coins option to keep specific assets outside of automated management.

You remain in control: you can pause or modify strategies, (partially) exclude coins from automated management, or disconnect at any time by deleting the API key in your Bitvavo account.
