Candlestick charts are visual representations of price movements in trading. Each candlestick reflects a specific period, showing opening and closing prices (body) and the high-low range (wicks). Traders use them to analyze market sentiment and predict future price movements, based on patterns like doji or hammer. They offer a quick, intuitive way to understand price action and make informed trading decisions.
