How can I view and download my transaction history and balance statement?

Whether for tax purposes or for your own overview, you might want to download your transaction history or your annual balance statement.

The balance statement or transaction history can easily be downloaded in the transaction history overview. The "export" button allows you to download the files.

Next, select which item you would like to download. You can choose between balance statements, the full transaction history, the transaction history of the current year, or past years.

The transaction history will be saved as a .CSV file. If desired, you can import the .CSV file into Excel by following the steps on this page. The balance statement will be saved as a .PDF file.

Can I filter the transaction history to only show certain data?

You can filter the overview on your transaction history page to only view certain assets and types of transactions. This can be done with the dropdown menus at the top of the transaction history overview.

Under the assets dropdown, you can select which assets you want to view in the overview, and deselect the ones you do not want to see.

You can use the type dropdown to select which type of transaction you want to view. For instance, you can choose to only view withdrawals or trades, and deselect all other types.

Is the transaction history on Bitvavo permanently stored and always accessible for viewing?

The transaction history is available and accessible for you as long as you have access to your Bitvavo account. Please note that you will no longer have access to the transaction history or yearly balance statements when you lose access to your account. Therefore, remember to download these documents before you close your Bitvavo account. In case the documents are needed and the account is already closed, please contact us via support@bitvavo.com.
