If you have enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) and want to transfer it to a new phone, follow the steps in this article. We provide instructions for both Google Authenticator and the Authy app.
Google Authenticator
If you are using Google Authenticator, follow these steps:

Log in to your Bitvavo account with your username, password, and 2FA code from your old device.

Navigate to "Security".

Under "Security settings", click "Disable" next to "Two-Factor authentication".

Enter your password and the 2FA code from your old phone.

Download the Google Authenticator app on your new phone.

In your Bitvavo account, click "Enable" next to "Two-Factor authentication".

Open Google Authenticator and scan the QR code displayed on Bitvavo.

Enter the verification code shown in Google Authenticator.
After completing these steps, your 2FA is now successfully transferred to your new device.
Authy App
If you use the Authy app, follow these steps:

Download the Authy app on your new device.

Register using the same phone number as on your old device.

Follow the on-screen steps to complete registration.

Once registered, your Bitvavo 2FA token will appear automatically.
After completing these steps, your 2FA is successfully transferred to your new device.
